Deep sea fantasy scene, where two young mermaids in the depths of the sea ride on a conch driven by two seahorses. The smallest mermaid carries a mandolin, the other, an amphora. Particularly noteworthy is the refinement of the underwater vegetation: the delicate coral, the striking seaweed, ... made with the technique of porcelain flowers. This is one of the very few pieces in the catalogue whose subject matter demands this amount of work and where Lladró artists have produced a masterpiece after painstaking elaboration.
